I have 25 years experience designing, creating and sewing within my own label, on set for tv and film, & backstage for off-Broadway plays. I am largely self taught and have my own way of altering clothing for best fit and “funk-tion.”
Consultations take 20-30 minutes.
Client tries on all garments to alter. 50% deposit due at drop off. Local turnaround 1 week. Balance due at pick up, final fitting is encouraged.
Some services are available for mail order. Client is responsible for all shipping costs.

Many of us keep a piece of clothing that belonged to a loved one who has passed. Seeing the item in its’ original shape, the shape that once held that person can bring a sort of sadness or longing. We can change the energy and give the piece new life by cutting it into something else to honor that dear person. You will smile in remembrance and feel a little hug from the great beyond. I often use the tribute piece of clothing as a lining of a coat or jacket but we really can create anything. When you select this listing you will receive a response to schedule a 30-45 consultation to look at the clothing piece and talk about what we can create from that love. The $100 deposit is applied to the final bill or can be converted into a gift certificate.
Please allow one hour for our fitting. If the fitting is a distant/on zoom fitting please schedule when a friend can help on your end. The fee is applied to final invoice within the terms of late/cancellation/no show. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to schedule your fitting.
